I'd advise you to speak English. There's no gender in English, except when you are talking about real people! Since a group is in itself is not a real person it is considered to be neutral, thus "it".

Problem solved.

Wrong, problem not solved.

While the english language does at first not seem to be gender-impair due to nouns not being associated with a specific gender, it does make use of gender specific third person conjugation. For example, upon referring to a performer, a gender non-specific term, for example, the third person singular requires the use of "he", that conjugation applies to many at first seemingly gender-nonspecific nouns. On other occasions, and actually indicating the presence of gender-impairment after all, there are seperate words to name a profession of a person depending on the gender of said person, for example actor/actress, emperor/empress, etc. Of course, these are conjugated gender-specific as well.

For real gender-free communication, try mandarin chinese, japanese, finnish, turkish, armenian, esperanto, etc.

I refer to those as it as well. And emperor is not a chosen profession.

And every normal language has its exceptions to the rules.
Het Nederlands is er vol mee!
