i heard about such in the news and didnt really get what hapening .. but sounds like a big mess to me ..

The government fell down (resigned)
The Chamber of Representatives wanted to vote a Law that seperated the circonscription (Flamingants agains French speaking) but the Belgian constitution provides an "Alarm Bell" procedure*, freezing it with 30 days.
But....
since the government resigned, the NEW one has to start all over again.

*)To prevent that one linguisitc group forces its laws upon the other. Mainly used by French speaking. They are by law in a minority

How is that racist anyways.. He wants to save money by stopping everything from having to be printed into 12 languages. Though.. I called my unemployment office to ask why on the pamphlet it had Farsi but not German . I have only met one person who spoke Farsi, and he didn't live in Massachusetts, he lived in New York and for sure he'd never file for unemployment because he made more than I do in a year each month lol. Though, Boston stuff has stuff translated into German.
