The Chamber of Representatives wanted to vote a Law that seperated the circonscription (Flamingants agains French speaking) but the Belgian constitution provides an "Alarm Bell" procedure*, freezing it with 30 days.
But....
since the government resigned, the NEW one has to start all over again.

*)To prevent that one linguisitc group forces its laws upon the other. Mainly used by French speaking. They are by law in a minority

How is that racist anyways.. He wants to save money by stopping everything from having to be printed into 12 languages. Though.. I called my unemployment office to ask why on the pamphlet it had Farsi but not German . I have only met one person who spoke Farsi, and he didn't live in Massachusetts, he lived in New York and for sure he'd never file for unemployment because he made more than I do in a year each month lol. Though, Boston stuff has stuff translated into German.

It only makes sense to have the driving test in English. After all, that's what language the signs are in.

The driving test should be in English. You have to be a resident to get a license, and to be a resident you have to be proficient in English by my knowledge. Plus, why would they need a test in Vietnamese? I've met immigrants from there who just came and they were more proficient in English than I am!

The US is a country full of immigrants.
If you touch one of their roots.....
Besides, you'd have to rewrite your Constitution. The ORIGINAL version was not made in English!

Yeah.. The race card HAS to go. Honestly it's used so much that it's turned into the boy who cried wolf. If you don't like Obama, you're racist. If you don't like illegal immigration, you're racist. If you get a bit uncomfortable when a black person stares at you on a train in a creepy manner, you're racist.
