The difference is, nobody has demanded so much in the past. Everything shouldn't HAVE to be translated into the native tongue of the immigrants. In Boston, nothing is written in Italian, Greek or Irish and they're all fine.

Has nothing to do with their roots. They can be as Hispanic, Vietnamese, Muslim, Russian, or Martian as they want. But it's not asking too much to have them learn English as a requirement for citizenship. Just like I imagine it is for German in Germany and Norwegian in Norway.

Yeah.. The race card HAS to go. Honestly it's used so much that it's turned into the boy who cried wolf. If you don't like Obama, you're racist. If you don't like illegal immigration, you're racist. If you get a bit uncomfortable when a black person stares at you on a train in a creepy manner, you're racist.
