Without the Oyster Card it costs an arm and a leg

I don't know. I prefer the Oyster Card. Easier than buying paper tickets from a machine, and not being able to check if I bought the right ticket. Plus, I'm a train fan, so I tend to go see a city by its subway system. And since London has the oldest system of the world...
And my Oyster just cost £3 itself, instead of the £5 it usually costs.

Which reminds me, I have to check, if I can get myself a refund for the OV-chipkaart of one of my kids! It's about to end!

The joke is that whether you're going to the next suburb or the other side of London, it takes an hour But considering how long it took for me to cross the street in central Amsterdam, I can see your point

Ufc will come to holland for the first time in may. But I'm not sure if I'll go. Last time i payed about 150 euro for the ticket alone. (And thise were semi cheap seats)
