Does anyone know what's the cheapest way to travel from Hamburg to Düsseldorf(which is where my flight leaves from) on Sunday the 5th of August?

I've tried looking for buses and such, but no luck, and the train costs like 160 euro... Really expensive.

Somehow I manage to find an ICE (German high speed train) connection between hamburg and dusseldorf for 77 euro's

in less then 2 minutes

The people the live at Wacken MUST just be Metalheads that never left, right?

in bahn.de you can buy the ticket for 29€

S'up, I know this has probably been asked before, but me and my mates are traveling to lubeck with ryanair, we know we can get a bus to the hamburg ZOB, but my questions are

1) can we get a bus straight to Wacken from the ZOB or do we have to go to remedy records?

2) will the shuttle buses run on the day after the festival (05/08/07)

These questions could seem pretty dumb but its peace of mind! Cheers!

yes, you have to go to Remedy Records. No buses from any other place in Hamburg straigt to Wacken. Better book the tix at remedy in advance.

WHERE THE FUCK CAN WE GET BEER FROM!?!?!?!

the solution is called s-h-o-p. Or Geschäft, Laden, Kiosk, Supermarkt, Discounter, Tankstelle, Getränkemarkt or whatever in German. You will recognize it by a door and a cash desk and product shelfs inside. Usually closed during the night and on sundays.
And, wohoo - there are stalls at WOA festival which do sell beer too!

another question though, is the 5:00pm bus on the wednesday the ONLY bus to leave from remedy records? theres more than one bus i presume?

um, might actually be the only one,as I think most buses are going on Thursday. Have you checked at Remedy and / or Wacken website?
In doubt, just send a mail to Remedy and ask!

Shit! yeh i've checked the site countless times and sent an email to remedy, no reply as yet. If worst comes to worse, does anyone have any idea of taxi costs or of alternative ways of getting there?
