I haven't even satrted packing yet, and I'm away for a good deal over next week end.

Guess I feel old in the game now and confident I keep everything in order.

So if I don't get lost by car I'll probably forget something important at home :p
Make sure you're full of gas for the route. It'd be a shame if you were to end without gas in your tank!

Sorry, i've got mixed up again.

Do we take the train to Altona from the actual Main Station if no trains direct to Itzehoe are available at the time?

you take the S-Bahn to Altona (it's still in Hamburg). Basically, trains run from the Main Station to Itzehoe, but not all day and less frequently. From Altona they run every hour and nearly all day, so it's a safer bet.

and now for you some questions! :D

1. i'll arrive with my flight at 4pm, i will be able to get the train from hamburg hbf to itzehoe at 06.02 pm? (considering delay and the bus from the airport to the hbf)

2. just to be sure, im 18 so no problem for me, but a friend of mine is 16. he need some kind of proxy?

3. in italy we can drink without problems, in germany its the same? or maybe there is a legal age?

4. i've seen trains which stop in elmshorn (from hamburg hbf) and from there you have to change train to itzehoe. it would be a good choice or there are some contraindications?

mm you can start answering :D

thanks from the italian noobbish :D

And to get to S-Bahn i simply need to get a bus or taxi or whatever?

Oh yeah on www.bahn.de it states there is one changover between Hamburg HBF and Itzehoe.
From the airport, you take a bus. Ticket is also valid for the S-Bahn to Altona (if you decide to go via Altona)

Extra info: A ticket full rate with InterCity is €15,-, but it's cheaper to travel with "Verbundstarif" (appr. €10,- if I'm not mistaken)
