I mean, I have had more than 100 euros taken from me here. This is not really a joking matter and obviously I will have to take legal action if the amount is not returned. Joking about it sets a bad precedent. I will PM @Wacken-Jasper

Auszahlung am 09. oder 10. August beantragt und am 18.08. war das Geld auf dem Konto.

Vor zwei Wochen mal nachgefragt, wo das liebe Geld denn bleiben würde !

Information bekommen nochmal 8 Werktage zu warten, man habe meine Anfrage an den Veranstalter weitergegeben!

UND wenn nichts ankommt auf dem Konto, dann solle ich mich direkt an den Veranstalter wenden....

I can understand your frustration! But I cannot give you more information, then available to me!

If you think that you have to take legal action, do most certainly not hesitate to do so! Ain't nothing I can do about! But a phone call won't be any good in this case. You'd need written correspondence.

My payout was in the bank this morning. I applied on 8th August, so its taken a month! Happy now i have it, the full amount has been paid

We need to develop a solution for some countries: There are cases where people want to get 10€ back but both sides (we and the fan) would have to pay 20€ in bank fees in order to transfer the 10€. Spending 40€ (20€ for us, 20€ for the fan) for transfering 10€ makes no sense of course.

We weren't aware of this problem before the festival but as I said, we are working on it.

Hi @Wacken-Jasper, do you have a rough ETA on an international solution (US in my case) so we can set expectations accordingly? Are we talking a week or two, months, or 2024+? The last update I got over a month was vague but mentioned a few weeks for an update, so just following up. Thank you and good luck!

I strongly disagree. A lot of people on this forum are voicing legitimate concerns or are asking polite questions. In return they often enough get a rude response along the lines of „how dare you complain about the festival/ organizers!?!!”.
Others also seem to think it’s ok to be rude if they pretend to be trolling.

Sorry if this is off topic, but the problem with that sentence is that what constitutes "bullshit" is purely peoples personal opinion.
That's no excuse for rude or demeaning behaviour. A honest answer as you call it can still be polite.

Regarding this post:
In Germany there is a saying "Bei Geld hört die Freundschaft auf".
The organisers advertises in their FAQ that the refunds would only be done within 14 days.

Ab Montag, den 08.08, 18:00 Uhr kannst du für dein Restguthaben über unser Eventportal http://cashless.wacken.com (auch über die App erreichbar) anfordern. Das Guthaben wird innerhalb von 14 Tagen nach Beantragung gutgeschrieben.

If you make this kind of statement on your website and even advertise this for W:O:A 2023 as I would see it, since it's still up on the website, you have to take some kind of responsibility in my opinion . To just blame the evil payment provider for this mess is "bullshit"

10.8. Auszahlung beantragt....und ich bin nicht ansässig im Ausland....

Ich geb dem ganzen jetzt noch nächste Woche und dann gebe ich das an die Verbraucherzentrale und den NDR weiter.

Zumindest kann man von den Organisatoren ne Info raushauen, dass es länger dauern kann mit der Auszahlung....man ist ja kein Unmensch und wartet ja auch......wenn auch angefressen!

If ICS really just do the payout, and your 5€ get a 20€ Service Fee Charge, i Bet the ppl would be waaaay happier. They Take responsebility by trying to have their Fans getting all the Money Back. Jasper even said that they didnt know about these fees
