Newbie introductions

Hello all!

This year will be my very first time coming to the festival! (Can't barely wait!)

So, here is my concern:
Budget,
-I regularly know how much beer I can drink a day/night and based on that I'd like to make my drinking beer budget. So, how much is a beer at Wacken? What about other drinks? (Jagger shots, etc)
-What about food? I'm not fancy at all when is a food matter, as long as it fills my belly I'm OK with basically ANYTHING. So much can be a meal?

With how much can you go through a day? Euros speaking.

I will of course bring some dry food, water and some other stuff at camp to save some money.

welcome to the forum!

I usually bring about 100 euro a day with me and end up spending about 50 euro a day.
beer prices might not be the same as last year and unfortunately I don't remember how expensive it actually was last year, I think 2,50 for a beer? (that's with the deposit for the cup not included)
food you can get from 2,50 to a whole lot more. you can always go to the local supermarket if you're really concerned about your budget.

I was planning to take about 100 for each day aswell just encase, as im terrible for buying clothes and silly things

The main question is how much is cake? and please say they have some sort of pudding

Kijk ook op je gemak in de "Wacken Hot Tub-Thread. Daar gebeurt het meeste.
Heb je vragen, dan mag je die altijd stellen, ook aan mij, en dat mag dan gewoon in het Nederlands (wel bij voorkeur via een PM, anders in de Q/A in het Engels, zo groot zijn de Nederlandstaligen vandaag niet meer)

Guttentag Metal Heads!

I'm American (from Ohio) and know very little German so bear with me! Being at Wacken has been a bucket list item for me and is coming a reality next month! I'm turning 50 next week or as I like to call it, the second anniversary of my 25th birthday. My son (he's 18) and I are doing a three week tour of northern Europe and start our journey on 7/22/15 - first stop Helsinki. We'll be staying in Barmstedt and driving to Wacken unless someone has any better advice.

I'm a HUGE Avatar fan and have been listening to them for long time. I've seen them live several times and got to meet the whole band in Cleveland. Got a great pic of me and Johannes together. Very cool to see that two of our local bands are playing Wacken - Mushroomhead and Dead Iron. We also got to see Kvelertak play their first USA gig last year at Rock On The Range in Columbus, OH.

We're looking forward to the whole W.O.A. experience and meeting some other fellow metal heads! Can't wait! Danke, metal heads!
