Das neue Album von Avatarium ist tatsächlich besser als ich erwartet habe.
Sehr melancholisch das ganze.

In Sachen "Doom Metal" gab es nie mehr eine bessere Band als "Reverend Bizarre".
...und die Stimme vom Witchfinder Albert regelt eh ungemein.

Ich finde die Band ja nicht schlecht, aber so richtig dicke Kumpels werden Manilla Road und ich in diesem Leben vermutlich nicht mehr...
Das verhindert schon Mark "The Shark" Sheltons (R.I.P.) nasaler, weinerliche Gesang.

Ich probiere mich gerade mal wieder in Mercyful Fate und King Diamond reinzuhören. Zum x-ten Mal in den letzten 20 Jahren. Ich will es mögen, aber ich werde damit einfach nicht richtig warm. Vor allem nicht mit der Stimme vom King...

Actually I like both bands. But because of the singer of each band, I can't listen too often to them.

Keine ganz neue Erkenntnis, aber angesichts der neusten Veröffentlichung kam es mal wieder:

Die Entwicklung der norwegischen Shining ist doch sehr interessant.
Von Jazz über Metal über Rock zum Pop, und immer ganz hervorragender Krempel und seit der Metal Phase auch stets ganz hartnäckige Ohrwürmer dabei.
Einfach eine hervorragende Band. Ich würde mir trotzdem mehr im Stil der Blackjazz wünschen.
