Again nothing .. This advent is getting worse and worse for me. I was hoping for some cool decent metal acts in spirit of Wacken and instead I get some " funny (not)" ,crossover, metalcore, industrial, death(what) rock bands plus horrible Manson. When there is a heavy/power/thrash metal it turns out to be a small one for tent ( Kissin Dynamite, Twilight Force). How I wish we could get Rhapsody, Iced Earth, Hammerfall, Airbourne, Scorpions, Grave Digger etc but looks like they all are at different festivals ( Graspop, Sweden Rock, Metaldays..). Will wait till the end of calendar but looks like I'll have to sell my ticket, I miss old days.. Though I am happy for those who like announcements so far.

Ja solche Momente kenn ich, wenn musst du jetzt bestellen, wenn du erstmal 2,3 tage zögerst ist die euphorie erstmal verflogen:D
Am besten entscheidest du dich endgültig wenn du voll bist, da trifft man die beste Entscheidung bzgl. Tickets kaufen, sprech da aus Erfahrung :D

I actually know them and propably will see them but hey, for 220 Euro I was expecting.. a bit more bigger bands on the calendar :) It irritates when you wait for Sunday announcement and you get Annihilator once again + Metalcore for Main Stage. Yesterday again Metalcore for big stage plus " funny not " bands. And today HEAVY METAL but for small stage. Looks like Wacken is changing.. But I can see that Rhapsody, Hammerfall , Magnum , Overkill etc are on festivals in August so still hoping for them and proper headliner ( however I guess it's gonna be Deep Purple like everywhere else )

I think most of us are hoping for bigger names (me as well) and I think, even in this (for me disappointing 'til now) calendar will be bigger names ;)

and if not, we have a lot of time 'till the next W:O:A. ;)

Yeah I only got Primal Fear in Calendar.. Wacken for me was always about Heavy/Thrash/Power Metal bands that I won't be able to see at commercial fests like Hellfest/Graspop for example. But something is constantly changing. More and more Metalcore/funny "not"/AOR Rock (Europe,Foreigner,Whitesnake)/Industrial/Punk/Crossover etc bands. I miss times like Wacken 2010 when at night Grave Digger played "Tunes Of War" with Pipers :) What a night it was.. But let's keep our fingers crossed for some bigger and PROPER HEAVY METAL names even though there are only 8 days left :)
