Hallo Metal Land !
First , please accept my apologies but my Deutsch isn't enough good to writte.
I just would like to writte my point of view about Circle Pits and Wall of Death.
At first I'm 44 years old , my girlfriend is 49 years old and we know together on W.O.A. 2009 , and we would like to come for every W.O.A. for our birthday.
And when we come, we wants to see " Metal Land ", and in Metal Land it's very important to see Circle Pits and Wall of death. Without , W.O.A. look like the other Rock Festival.... Metal isn't just a question of music during 3 days , it's a real way of live and in this way of live we find all the think who do than metal stay a different music .
But I'm agree than we have now a real problems with Circle Pits and Wall of death. In Circle Pits we see people turn on the wrong sens , and in Wall of death we seen people too young to do it. And we see too mutch young people drunk during this W.O.A.
So I'm just two idea :
The first one is to forbidden the W.O.A. until 16 years old with out Parents , and control the I.D. with the tickets check. And for the Parents present they must accept to sign up a " own responsability document "
The second is to make a special aera , paint a part of the ground , and in this area ,and only this ,fans can do Circle Pits and Wall of death. expel immediately of the festival people who turn on the wrong way or people who try to do it outside the area.
The Bands want's Circle pits and Wall of death with safety , metals fans want the same , with respect to the other who want to see the show in a quiet place. I do wall of death and circle pits some time and I like it, and some time I just want to see the show, I think than in the first metal festival in the world we can do both in safety for all.

nun auch noch meine meinung! ich trenne da ein bisschen zwischen wad und cp... gegen pits hab ich gar nichts und bin auch sleber gern mal drinnen! solange die Menschen fair sind, was ich in wacken immer erlebt habe, und einen notfalls hochziehen ist alles klar! und die die sich davon gestört fühlen, weil sie n meter rutschen müssen damit sie nicht in die pit geraten, sollen entweder weiter nach hinten (da sind erfahrungsgemäß fast nie pits) oder doch sich andere musik als ihre liebste raussuchen!
die frage ist auch, wo ist die grenze zwischen cp und "normalen" pogen, abgehen oder wie man es auch immer nennt!
wad sind find ich so eine sache, auch wenn es natürlich stimmt, dass sie immer angekündigt werden und man wegkommt, aber so ne rennende masse ist einfach immer gefährlich, da ist dann auch nichts mit hochziehenwenn wer stolpert und dann kanns böse ausgehen! Deshalb könnte ich ein Verbot dieser verstehen!
schade fände ich wenn es irgendwann so weit käme, dass wir der msuik sitzend lauschen müsste, weil das am ungefährlichsten ist...aber davon redet ja zum glück keiner!

Das ist Schwachsinn.Ich mein klar es passiert einmal in wasweißichwievielen WoDs das mal jemand der hingefallen ist übersehen wird aber das da generell keiner mehr hochgezogen wird ist ziemlicher Schwachsinn.

Nö.Es macht tierischen Spaß und deswegen ist es nit sinnlos und ich hab immer noch keine Ahnung wieso sich Leute durch WoDs oder Circles gestört fühlen.

dann solltest du einfach mal lesen was hier so geschrieben wird...im günstigsten fall verstehst du dann auch was die leute dagegen haben! wenn nicht, renn einfach weiter mit dem kopf gegen die wand...

es ist ja nicht so als würden wir das nicht verstehen
aber deswegen müssen wir es doch noch lange nicht akzeptieren
wir haben auch unsere argumente
es gibt pros und contras auf beiden seiten
ich bin dafür und du dagegen das heißt ja wohl nicht das ich deine position nicht verstehe, ich denke eher DU verstehst meine nicht.
