I wish
it's more of a guide specifically if you're visiting Germany, soo it'll have one section on checking into a hotel, one on greeting people, etc.
and how you get a beer ^^

Einen is one?? Tag is Day??
not really... eins is one. But if you wanna say "one more day", then you have to change the ending of eins to einen (Akkusativ.).
Thanks its good to learn stuff like this.. i know i can manage basic german, but my friends tell me its broken!!
Ie I translate literally sometimes which doesnt work to well!!
I really should take german in an evening class sometime considering i travel to germany at least twice a year Wacken and Silvester!
is there any way to know the gender of a noun just by looking at it?
or do you have to just learn each one individually?
You can't except words that end with -ei, -eit, -heit, -keit, -ung and -schaft, they're all "female".
cool, danke... is that all the female endings, or are there others?
These are standard. Only one I can think of is -in.
Like Der Student - Die Studentin.
Der Arzt - Die Ärztin
etc.
