I must admit LW is in some points right. But... to put this personally to you (@Sipy) is not at all correct.

That some of the Dutch (Hollandse) system is not at all perfect, not to say, a mess, is true. I couldn't live with it so I left. But... if you want to come to NL, I'll be glad if you'll make it. You'll have some probs in the beginning, but you'll manage them as well. I'm sure.
Don't let this bitching stop you from going to NL. It is a beautiful country, though I don't like it that much anymore. But all is just a question of feeling or taste.

Well, let's put it this way.
It's been better before we got those jerks from the VVD (liberals) in Governmnent.
Housing however has always been a problem in some regions. Nothing to do but look at the private market. That are things you learn to live with, but are as inconveniant as hell!
And one of my reasons (apart the love) was the mentallity of the Hollanders (for all), as I refer to call the Dutch "Nederlanders".
Those Hollanders (and now I mean those living in North and South Holland provinces) think "we" as Brabanders are "spare Belgians". (because we have a so called "soft G", as they have a "harsch G".
To understand that, you must hear both AP, LW and me talk in Dutch. Maybe you'll hear the difference. (I wonder if Sipy heard it?)

Cologne police caught 2 presumed terrorists on a flight to Amsterdam.
They forced the plane on the ground, arresting the 2 suspects, and then the passengers had to leave the plane with their luggage.
It was on its way to Schiphol/Amsterdam airport.

The Cologne police has had a busy week.
First the fascist demonstration last weekend, (which fell btw. completely into water, a total failure, the demonstration so to speak) and now this bust on those 2 terrorists!
I'm starting to like Cologne.
I liked Kölsch already.
