Some years ago they stopped their gig in Madrid to go to the backstage with some horny grouppies. It was a 15 minutes break (more or less) so maybe they're not as "macho-men" as they think

But I want Manowar to play in Wacken, because there might be not many people in the other stages while they're playing

Seems to me that Manowar is at the same the time the most hated and most loved metal band in the world. It's either:

"I fucking HATE Manowar"

or

"MANOWAR ARE THE KINGS OF METAL!!!!1!!!1!"

And there's no middle ground. Nobody ever says "Manowar? They're not bad"

i can't understand how come there are people who don't like real metal!!!

maybe it's becouse most of the guys i know start metal with manowar...
i was 9years old when i discovered them...
From the moment my life has changed.
i start to fight.
i start to show my hatred to the world.
Metal is not just music it's the way of life.
So sound does't matter(i hope you understand what i mean) for me as long as it encourages me to fight(with lyrics of music).
And Manowar ,i think, is a symbol for many people including me.( even after they became more commercial.)
