Wasn't sure where to ask so here seems as good a place as any!
Are there still more bands?
My excitement levels are peaking far too early. I'm going to have to start breathing into a brown paper bag soon.
Where would you go to?
Germany? AfD is there.
Belgium? N-VA and Vlaams Blok/Belang (in Dutch speaking Belgium only)
France? Front National.
Austria? FPÖ. (Jörg Haider's party, even though he's dead)
And I can go on.
Though MAYBE Canada might be an option. But in Québec, there's the Parti Québecois (PQ, which in EU French is toilet paper) But you're soooo close to Trump..
Well?

There will be the Metalbattle bands and that's pretty much it
Actually, Japan is the most xenophobic country in the western world. Afraid to loose its culture.
yeah, and maybe some small bands that aren't in the metal battle.
Don't think we'll get any big announcements.
Was really hoping sodom were going to play this year though :'(
Saw them at Wacken in 2007 for their 25th anniversary show, thought they might have been back for their 35th. Oh well.

Mambo Kurt and Victims of Madness.![]()
Sodom are one of my favorites, too. Unfortunately, I've
only been able to see them live once in LA back in Aug '06.
Every other time I've tried to see them, the gigs get
cancelled within the last couple days beforehand and the
reason is usually said to be related to visas. I've seen
both Kreator and Destruction each five times or more since
they started touring the US again back in '02. On that tour,
Sodom toured with them through Europe but not the US.
The show in LA that I did go to, they did a free meet & greet
at Dark Realm Records, they were really cool and laid back.
A lot of great bands tend to avoid big tours of the US, and
rightfully so, because a lot of the time there's low attendance.
Most bands can only get a good turnout by playing bigger
cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, New York as opposed to
playing some bar in "Jerk Water, Nowhere." Bay Area does
alright with shows but more tours are booking in Oakland
instead of SF because it's cheaper.
Oh, the Japanese are very open for foreigners! As long as they are leaving, and they spend money! But you will find difficulties integrating in the country! You will always be considered a "stranger".Well, I follow a lot of youtube channels of foreigners in japan, they never say anything about any racist encounters. So maybe your assumption about japanese people being xenophobic is, unintentionally, a bit xenophobic by itself? I don't know
Maybe we should aks sipy when she's back.
