I have never a clock with me. Neither a watch, nor a mobile phone.
A bit difficult if you're stuck with departure times of public transport. Especially if you can't read the clock at the station (if there is any in Belgium at least)
I'll find a way. Probably going to go to the big Carrefour and if not, eBay or something will have to do.

Here I work 8 hours/day and get paid for 7.5 (they do not pay for 1/2 hour lunch) I also don't get vacation, benefits or paid sick days. If I want to take days off I don't get paid.

They definitely are not. The "exciting" bit is about my medical typing workload supposedly increasing tenfold. That has been the promise for the last three years, but it seems most of the doctors here are too stubborn to offload their typing onto me instead of the nearest admin person or just staying back late doing it all themselves (or worse, handwriting stuff *shudders*). Anyway the plan is that I will do the medical typing for the district, which covers part of Brisbane and two surrounding cities.
There are so many things wrong with this arrangement or that don't sit well for me, but I don't have time to type them here right now. I'm also really taken aback that they decided all of this for me behind my back and decided to tell me the plan for the first time in front of everyone. My boss said she'd speak to me about it on Monday; I'm totally looking forward to talking to a smiling brick wall

Besides, if I got a promotion, a position would have to become available, and I'd have to apply for it. I'm at a level 3 now, so a level 4 would be a supervisor...no thank you
