Hmm, not so sure. This morning my mother old me one of our chickens died unexpectedly. Especially since we don't know what killed her, my mother buried the carcass.

Then later today I had to attend an admin meeting and apparently my supervisor wasn't allowed to tell me about what was said. I walked in just in time to find out they're moving my office to the big building from where a huge majority of the community services are based. I won't go into it, but I'm really not happy about it at all. My boss tried to tell me this would be, and I quote "exciting for you". Hah, I doubt it...

Aww, so not a very good day? :(

Moin everybody! :)

Thank you! :D It's a workplace cafeteria. So lot of washing dishes and helping the cook with everything. :)

That sounds cool!
I'm totally happy for you! :)

I think you will like it and you will have some fun! :)

And I didn't see that Hellhammer asked the same question. I'm kinda read lazy. :p:ugly:

Edit Piaf zegt: Pay attention to the chef, especially when he's making food. You could steal his secrets, and start your own restaurant! :ugly::D

Sounds like a great idea! Milkie should do that! :D

And I don't think I will ever have my own restaurant. :D

Why not? You'll never know! :)

I made my own hot sauce today...

...I was overzealous with the chillies... *sweating*

That's how it should be. :D
I love extra hot food!

Ça va. My watch broke yesterday. It still tells time, but I can't put it on my arm anymore. The band will get loose every time.

And yes, I'm still part of those people needing a watch, becasue it's "bigger" than the clock on my cell / mobile phone.

I have never a clock with me. Neither a watch, nor a mobile phone.

It was ok apart from those two things. I managed to get to work a little earlier than I first planned; that was nice :) The work I do currently requires me to work 8 hours then go home, so if I get to work early I start straight away and go home early :D

Oh, that's nice. 8 hours? That is a long work day.

Moin everybody! :)

Yeah I'm happy too! :D My employer is nice so I think it will be nice.

Haha, I don't think restaurant business is my thing. I have other plans. :p

Yeah, I work full time. The arrangement is that we work 40 hours a week and get paid for 38 hours, then one day every 4 weeks we can have a day off and get paid as normal. We can have up to 38 hours of unpaid hours before we have to use them up. That's how I got away with having a 5 week holiday this year :ugly: We are entitled to 4 weeks of paid holidays a year, but if we don't use them they can carry over for one more year...and that's how I got away with 7 week holidays in 2010 and 2012 :p

How long do you work in Finland?

Keeps me sane for sure. I remember one time when I was working at another health service, we had flexible working hours and could accrue up to about 3 days worth, and this one time everyone was pissing me off big time. After one day off, I didn't want to go back to work the next day...so I asked my boss if I could have another day off and she said I could :D Doesn't always happen that way, but it's nice when it does :p I really enjoy my work now so I can easily work up 5 days worth of extra hours and not really notice :o

Laptop update: It turned on. :) Only the trackpad doesn't work. The keys on the keyboard all work, but a couple are sticky. Headphone jack works.

I'm going to see if I didn't accidentally disconnect an internal cable for the trackpad. But at least if it's gone for good, it's not the end of the world. All I'd need is an external mouse.

Oh good! That's a relief. I actually tend to prefer external mice for laptops.

I will work 7 hours.. But I don't know. XD

Well I will go to army and Defence Forces school. :p

So you HOPE that you work 7 hours, right? :D

Oh there are women in the Finish army?
Would you be a female soldier then or could you only work in an office or for medical jobs or something like that?
