Yeah lots of heat unfortunately does that.
A few years back when france had a heatwave I think a few thousand old people died.

when I couldn't sleep last night I checked some weather website and it said it would rain in about an hour. but 10 minutes later all rain disappaired from the radar

Damn, it was 38.2 degrees at the german border. I think it's only been above 38 degrees in the netherlands 2 times in my life.

Heavy rain and storm and thunder in Limburg, and Brabant!
I just saw the news. One dead in Rotterdam, a tree on a car, where s/he was in, other person heavilly wounded.
And in LImburg a man just missed a tree, but got a 2nd on his car. He filmed it.
And water flooding there. And "horizontal" rain in Roosendaal.

Crazy weather.
