We're going to be arriving early on Wednesday morning. Staying in a village not far from Wacken for a few nights before the festival. A bit of luxury before the madness commences. As we've got a few days in Germany before Wacken, I'm hoping that I've got the mass drinking of great German beer our of my system already. That's the plan anyway. And no buying of anything other than beer while at Wacken. Been stung before at Sweden Rock when we made the mistake of buying a bottle of wine! Pretty much passed out while Blind Guardian were on.

I had that problem once when I drank half a liter of vodka in ten minutes. that was a lost day of headbangers open air. :ugly:

I've seen Slipknot at the Download festival about 4 times. Can only actually remember them once... and even that is hazy! :Puke:
