Ditto...

As least, we are fortunate to be able to do 2 trips a year and do it with our daughter. I didn't had that chance when I was her age... She is lucky

We hope to start taking our 5 yr old with us on the longer trips starting next year. He needs to learn to listen a little better though because we won't tolerate his antics - especially if we have to fly.

I like going to new places, but I hate the act of travelling. (organising it, flying, trains shit like that)

Once I'm in a new place and can start drinking I'm usually fine though., :D

I love planning - I'm a master at it. I have everything ready before I go including google maps of everything and directions for everywhere. I started planning Wacken 2013 last year :p

We did the same. We started with smaller trips (Mexico (1 week) when she was 6, Cuba (1 week) at 7) and since then, she's always with us when we leave for Christmas (12 days) and summer (18-20 days).

Our last trip to France cost us a lot :) (we treated ourselves with really good restaurants :p) and I need to save the money for Germany (Wacken!!!!) so no trip for us next Christmas :(

We're going to stay a little closer to home for a while - next time we go to Wacken we will probably have him with us (of course he will be older then) We're going to start taking him to the local rock festivals too to get him used to the noise.
