I've done at least the first one with english too, I think that helped me with learning a lot.

I just listened to Rammstein A LOT, especially when I was young; definitely got my pronunciation going :ugly: While I was over there, most people don't even let me practice :o It's always "I want to practice my English", "I like speaking English", "here, we have a menu in English", or when I give it a go, they sit there giggling and when I ask what's so damned funny, they say "no, it's nice!" :o The kitchen lady at Headbangers Open Air let me practice a little bit, and corrected me without overtly judging me :)

I don't think I would speak it until I really understanded it... Still with english I tend to think too much and everything. My english is good but it gets tough when I think it more than I should and then I don't speak so good. :D

I just try short (half) sentences here and there if I can. I certainly couldn't hold any kind of conversation in German :o

I only know few words and sentences... Not really helpful :D

Tip, it's closer by then you think.

Read the German forum!!! See if you can understand it! (especially handy if you plan on doing other festivals, there's plenty of them)

I've tried that sometimes. :D
