Depends how stubborn the population of Belgium is. I imagine it's not popular at all in countries like Italy, but cannot confirm/deny.

Probably a lot to do with tourism, I would imagine. I felt bad for doing it, but I'd often go to an American franchise because I was "hungry now" and the menu was in English
I think everyone knows that the Belgians and Germans make better beer though.
It's not just Belgium! Starbuck's is also in NL, getting its place at the bigger stations more and more!
McDoofs is everywhere. Burger King fortunately not in Belgium yet, but we have Quick, which is based on the same concept as McDo/BK etc.
If you go to Germany, on every big main station, there's a McDo! (Köln/Hamburg/Aachen Hbf e.g.)
I don't know about France yet. We'll see in 10 days, when I'm on my way to Hellfest. The only station I know there, is Lille Flandres, and that's just an RER station (local trains)

The Starbucks chain was named after a character called Starbuck from the book Moby Dick by Herman Melville.

Don't forget the toaster which is like little conveyor belt made out of wire. Aw it's so cute
They areee soo cute! I love using them haha! But the last one i used in Glasgow stole my toast and nearly went on fire so, im not sure i trust them anymore
When i went to the US i was about 5 and it was the first time i even saw a buffet before never mind a breakfast buffet! I got told i was so excited about seeing blue jelly and didnt know i could use more than one plate i ended up with a bowl of blue jelly, eggs, cereal, and toast.... not sure if i ate itAnd now, since you've been to the US, what about US breakfasts? Do they turn you fatty as well as the European breakfasts?
