Well that depends. Some people really can't afford to be throwing twenty to thirty quid away on a new tent each year. I got a £25 tent from Milletts and it's been fine for three festivals.

right... hello!

trying to get to wacken this year... but i have a loads of questions.

i want to fly in on wednesday, the 1 of august. And i want to fly out of germany on monday, 6th of august. can i stay in the camp until sunday, 5th? and sleep in the airport on the 5th evening, or party in hamburg or something.

or does the festival end on saturday the 4th? will there be any bands on the 4th?

and is there any way to turn the language of the forum from german into english? My german isn't as good as when i did my A-levels in it.

Go to the bottom of the page and you can change the language to English...well American English..

There'll be bands until 3am Sunday morning.
