hey, this is my first post, and the first time ill actually be able to go to wacken (just turned 18). i desperately want to go, but none of my friends want to go with me. i was wondering if many people at wacken will speak english, it is the only language im fluent in, and without a friend i dont know if i want to go if im not going to understand anybody.

I found thta most people at wacken speak some english and if they dont you can communicate with grunts, band names, chugging and making metallic gesturres (crotch grabs, projectile vomitting etc.).

This year I'm gonna be flying from stanstead to lubeck on the 25th and chilling in Hamburg for a night or so before missioning to wacken. Does anyone know the fine drinking establishment Ansolf and Gretels pub in the red light district, its a tiny beatles theme shithole near where some metal bars meant to be last year we inhabited it along with a bout 20-50 other metal heads until stumbling out at about 8am. Any one know where I'm on about? they serve sour beer an the bar staff are like mutants with eating problems.
