There is also a comment on the Saxon Forum that pretty much confirms it. Someone asks a question - is there any cance of SAxon playing Wacken 2009.

The response from one of the Admin's is something like:

"Don't know where you got this from, but it seems there is a very good chance"

Also looks like Alestorm are touring again. They would be a good add - they were awesome last year.

Heaven and Hell woulkd be great for Wacken. I'd like to see Manowar there too but they'd have to do the Thursday headlining slot cos they'd want to bring in some ridiculous PA to be twice as loud as everyone else.

Would love Slayer, Cannibal Corpse and Municipal Waste to be added myself.
