RUMORS FOR 2009

yeah well they have pulled out like the last 3 years running or something i seen them 3 times, and they sucked everytime, was just a laugh cos they played nearby, I reackon an awesome headliner line-up would be AC/DC, Metallica, maybe Immortal, although Obituary are coming back supposedly so I wouldn't be surprised if they showed up.
But Devildriver better fucking play!!!

 

Marilyn Manson? no thanks.. i prefer Manowar.. or something like that...

Also i would like some old school bands like Venom, Tankard, Voivod, Pestilence (reunion)

ANs some Pagan/Vikin like Thyrfing, Arkona, Manegarm, Equilibrium..

Sarcofargo -> is fake for sure.
Satyricon -> very unlikely since the WOA organisers have a argument with them since last time.

yeah but I'm going to see them at fortarock in nijmegen holland, so I'm lucky with that.

 

Pray that BFMV's plane is delayed by 10-12hours and they can't make it from USA and back!

Gamma Ray - ??? only know 2-3songs by them
Iced Earth - where bad at wacken in 07
Immortal - my fav band so i hope so
Morbid Angel - would be good
Obituary - would be good

Rammstein - really..... hope not!
Saxon - they have to its the rules that they play every otehr year at wacken!!!
Sarcofargo - who?
Satyricon - hope so but sounds unlikely
Schandmaul - hope so

If too many NWOAM bands get added to the bill I may as well stay in UK for festivals! If I wanted USA new metal. I go to Wacken to get european/scandinavian metal.....maybe metal camp is worth looking at for next year. They got Blind Guardian this year, wacken should get them back! in 2007 they stole the show!

 

Airbourne had the same schedule and made it to Wacken last year so unfortunately I'd say BFMV can do the same. I'd hope Slayer and Cannibal Corpse do as well if that's the case.

Gamma ray is listed by a dutch site called festivalinfo.nl Their official site has only 2 tour dates so far, but it's possible.

Lamb of God could be they play at Graspop.

Morbid Angel would be cool.

Not so sure about Rammstein, I hear they do have fun shows to watch.

 

I think gamma ray actually had it listed on their own site some time ago...
