It seems like gnoff will meet Fallen_Knight at 2000 Decibel in May, I'll try converting him to our mysterious ways!

I think some people in Australia used Argon, but it sounded awfully expensive not to mention that had to go back to Hamburg every night - yikes! They got their tickets at the last moment, too.

I would have been spewing if it was me, but then I was spending a while in Europe. I had everything ready 1 month before I departed :D

The hotel package from Argon is utterly worthless, but the camping option is worth considering. I didn't get my tickets until I actually boarded the bus, but international mail considered, maybe that was the right idea...

Argon is worth it if you 1) take the camping option, 2) don't want to be bothered with renting cars, or otherwise arranging transport to the festival grounds, and 3) don't mind a long coach ride (i can still smell the puke...eerrgh!)

Cannon - that other guy on here from Georgia mentioned that he got tix in short order from Nuclear Blast. Might be the best bet for us.

Tickets

Its the usual story for me.

Last year I bought tickets from Argon Direct and the next week, Metaltix added an English version to their site.!!!

This year I bought the tickets from Metaltix, and I have only noticed the english version of the Nulcearblast Site there now!!!

agh.

Yet did Nuclear Blast give free T-shirts and CD's with their package?

They betrayed my Celtic brotherhood.

I don't think so, but that package was only available before Christmas anyway and I didn't get my tickets until April/May.

Last year, I couldn't find the tickets on the Nuclear Blast shopping site, so I just emailed then with my order and c/c details.
