Well in the mulkonian world as in the world today, the female population always outnumbered the male population by a ratio of 2:1.
As a result of this, females (18+) realised that if they wanted a husband, they would have to compete fiercely to get what they want.
Thus some of their secrets for capturing men was to appeal to their spiritual side by:
NOT wearing tracksuits for activities other than sport.
Losing their teenibopper characteristics.
Getting in touch with their darker side.

So back in the mulkonian period were a mass of gothic beauties who tempted the men into darkness.
