Newbie introductions

Hi everybody

I was going through the Wacken forum , read a lot about the Wacken history , the stories running this year and the fantastic work done by Nemesis in replying to all the queries.

I was wondering where to being interacting with all you metalheads and the newbie forum seemed most apt to begin

So here i am

I am Karan

M/F - male

I am from Delhi , India.

I am 29

Unlike most of you who have been to Wacken so many times, this will be my first time . Its been a dream for about 7 years now and I feel on top of the world by just imagining I will be there attending Worlds bggest and heavieast Concert with the most gruesome metalheads. ( I wonder what will happen when I am actually there)

My favourite bands - Dimmu Borgir ( Been listnin to them since 8 years now ) Amon Amarth , Cradle of Filth , In Flames , Sepultura , Suffocation ,

So guys that was a little about me. Would love to make some friends here.

Looking forward to meeting you all in Wacken.

This will be my first Wacken too so you're not the only one. Best way to get to know people is 70k (i think it was 70k) before Wacken 2013 thread. That's how I started and couldn't leave (it was still 2012 thread which is now "buried" but same thing). We are nice people, some of bit crazy though but don't let it scare you

How's the metal scene in India?

First of all a Big Bow to Agresionpower with 50000 plus posts... Wow!!

The metal scene in India is HUGE.

Every college , every school , every class ,every block in the street has a band of their own these days..

It used to be rock n roll in the 90s and early 2000s but now Metal with all its genre is becoming more prevelant.There are hoardes of classic ,death metal , heavy metal , black , thrash metal bands in India that are doing gr8.

And if there was a little gap , it was brilliantly filled by bands like Metallica , Iron Maiden , Amon Amarth , Sepultura , Opeth when they visited India and were astonished by the mamoth response ( I attended all of em in various parts of India, what pleasure it was cant describe ..sigh)...they were all just awed like we were..

Metal scene in India is on a roll and I am glad I am part of it.

Good to hear about the metalscene over there
Over here the metalscene is ok, not very big, but atleast we have some great festivals to go to every year.

I was reading a book by einstein and I read that Speed of light is something that cannot be Bettered...it is the fastest.....

but Einstein has just been proved wrong...

Finnchick - Time u took to reply to the posts beats the speed of light left right and center...

Einstein would be jumping in joy in the heavens right now
