Bush went on Arab television yesterday to speak about the systematic humiliation of Iraqi prisoners and did not apologise. Yet he enjoys the support of something like 60% of the American population for his foreign policy and action in Iraq. WTF is wrong with you people? Seems you only have to start a war to gain the support of the American people. Goebbels could have told you that, and probably did.

(for reference, I work in a large sporting goods store...www.galyans.com should give you an idea)

I get in to the strangest conversations with people at work sometime... one in particular, I was chatting with a customer, when somehow we get on the topic of Iraq, and how he thinks the best solution is to get our troops out and then "without warning, nuke Iraq and every last inch of the desert until it's solid glass."

So I was a little lost for words...when I told him I thought that were better military options that would be more effective and more humane.

...and THAT, my friends, is the first time I've ever been called a terrorist sympathizer.

And you could write that customer off as being just another redneck...except he paid with a Congress FCU credit card. I later looked up his name...he's a United States Congressman from Pennsylvania.

I think I may be moving to Canada...

You know USA aint democratic state, because democratic country is developing, because revolitionary changes are bad for the development of democracy.

No national government anywhere in the world is a true democracy - if one was, that would mean every single citizen would have to vote on every single decision.

Actually that is probably the only way to fight terrorism. As long as you leave survivors, they are prone to become terrorists to avenge their relatives and whatnots. Just look at the U.S. How many civilians have been killed in Afghanistan and Iraq since WTC? 15.000?

Then you have the outrage of the U.S. public over the Iraqi not being grateful, and it being typical of the muslims. I've also followed the discussion of torture prior to the photographic evidence of last weeks, and the consensus seems to be that it's ok if it may save American lives.

The Geneva Convention be damned, let's invade a country, capture people who resist, label them "unlawful combatants" and send them to a concentration camp outside international law. Let's hire civilian contractors to whom no law applies and let them humiliate and torture common criminals in Iraq. Divide the Arab world into "confirmed terrorists" and "not yet confirmed terrorists". Kill 'em all and send them to their false Allah god.

God Bless America - The Home of the Brave.

You know what told me the singer from Macabre? That he likes Bush cause he is tough, and that it is better to attack them before the attack USA...and I translate it to my friend that was sitting next to me and he was like: Hey tell him.... better nothing :D
