First one was a Freiherr von Zech Kellerbier from the area of Augsburg, Bavaria. There still was some yeast in and the colour was brown. Nice
Then a Slalom Strong Ale, brewerd in Edinburgh. 9% alcohol but not to malty sweet. Light in colour. Great stuff to get headache the next morning from a few bottles more.:D
Biberacher Ur- Dunkel was the next. Deep from Swabian Sibiria (;)) a strong dark stuff with a hint of wood in the taste. Delicious.
We finished with Bulldog Dark Ale. With 6,3% not as strong as the Slalom. Dark and nice but not to exiting....

Started with a Rommehed Oktober Festbier, a Swedish beer dispite the name. A pretty nice taste to it, better than Spaten anyway ;) 5% vol.

Next a Bombardier Premium Bitter which smelled heavenly from hops, but did not have too much taste to it. Only 4.#% vol, so a nice beer for drinking lots without getting crazy.

Had an ordinary Guinness draught next.
Continued with a Blue Chimay, nice as always. 9% vol so here I got back what I loosed on the first ones :D

Finished off with another Guinness draught.

Pretty soft evening :)

Was a long nice beer day and night yesterday, started at 15 and ended at 02.

First a Mort Subite Oude Gueuze Lambic from Keersmaeker, 7% from bottle. First time I tasted it, but I've read a lot about it. Really nice Lambic that one.

Next I had three samples from Brouwereij Kerkom, all called Bink and all from tap.
Bink Blond, Bink Straffe and also Bink Reuss 2003.
Straffe is brewed for the pub Akurat in Stockholm and is a 9% one.

Had two samples from different Kriek lambic, a Giardin Kriek 5% and a Cantillon Kriek, both from tap.

Continued with a De Konick on tap.

After this I tried a unique bottle of Lambic, also brewed for the pub Akkurat, this time be Brewery Cantillon. It has Swedish picked Cloudberries in it and a very special smell and taste. Put on bottle in 1999 and at its peak according to those who claim to be experts.
Called "Soleil de Minuit" and has 5%

After this a real ale from The Grainstore Brewery called Ten Fifty, a 5% on tap. really nice hoppy taste to it, one of the best real ales I've had ever.

This was the last beer at Akkurat and we left for Bishops Arms instead.

First beer at the new place was Huvill, an ale on tap from Närke Kulturbrygeri, a sWedish micro brewery. This was a double IPA with OG 1.081 and 7.8%
Also very nice taste.

Next a Delirium Nocturnum, the dark one with pink elephants on the bottle. From Brasserie Huyghe in Belgium, but I could not taste very much on this one. Great looking bottle and glass though.

Left for the pub Oliver Twist after this.

Tried a special beer called The Sipyard Pumpkinhead Ale from the US. Clear cinnamon taste and smell, but I might have confused it with pumpkin. Pretty good though. From bottle.

After closing time at OT, we actually went to my old hang out Kelly's, but only had a few sips of a Tuborg Guld bottle, then I felt like goig home for some sleep.

Yesterday started with a "test beer" from a big Swedish brewery called Spendrups, they had brewed an ale, only 1,000 liters and my hotel had it.
Ws quite nice, at least when coming from that brewery.

Next a Newcastle brown followed by a Guinness.

After this a Mardesous 10, less taste than I had imagined.

Finished off with a "Göta Brygd" from a Swedish micro brewery, not so very nice though.

For those who don't understand, it sais that beer is good for your health. The hop in beer contains xanthahumol which prevents cancer in the breast, prostate and the utiris to develop. It also seems, according to a London hospital to build and strengthen your bones. And the only way to get this xanthahumol into your body is by drinking beer.

It doesn't say if alcohol is good for your health, nor how much you have to drink daily.

Yesterday I drunk 2 0,33 EKU 28 with 11 % from Kulmbacher, 2 0,5 PET-Holsten with 4,8%, a 0,33 Budweiser Budvar 5,0%, a 0,33 Pilsner Urquell 4,4 %, 2 0,33 Asgaard BioPils with 4,8 % and 3 0,5 König Pilsener 4,8 %. ;)
A friend drunk a lot of Oettinger Weizen with 4,9% and another one drunk Herforder Mild Plus with 4,9% and König Pilsener with 4,8%.

The EKU 28 did not taste to me, the PETHolsten was okay, Budweiser and Pilsner Urquell were really good like the König Pilsener. Asgaard tastes different to the other beers, but also good. :)
