Yep. You'll get far in this world with such a remark!

BTW: Guinness is like water. Only thing, it gets you drunk.

Indeed, Guinness is very drinkable, but doesn't taste much.
Rather low on alcohol (the standard one at least), smooth mouth feel, not much taste at all, not much bitterness that you can sense.
Usually the best alternative at a shitty pub otherwise just serving cheap lager beers, but at a good pub I'd rather have something with some taste to it.

Today: Amstel Hefstbock. (one of the Heineken brewery)
It tastes well, compared to its lager beer. But there are better ones.
However, this bock is more than one year old. And it makes it only better.

What Sam Adams like and wheres it from? :)

I really like Samuel Adams Boston Lager, a nice hoppy taste to it.

Their Boston Ale is quite nice as well.

The Cream stout is not to my liking, too much burnt taste and not well balanced.

The Cocolate Bock is not only terribly expensive, it only taste of chocolate bars, buy some sweets instead of that one.

The Octoberfest doesn't have much character at all, but then again, it's an Octoberfestbeer...

The Summer Ale has a wheat beer kind of touch to it.

Their Triple Bock (though not made anymore) is horribly expensive, too damn sweet and taste like a bad port wine made of maple syrup.

Though I can really recommend the Boston lager and the Boston ale, well worth checking out.
Though both have a lot more taste to them than the usual international lagers you tend to drink Mike ;)

Today I bought 2 bottles of 750 ml at 6% "Lindemans Lambic" from 1996.
Only 1000 bottles exist, Sweden got 750 of those and sales started yesterday.

I thought they'd be gone by today, but I was lucky :D

Looking forward to trying it soon.
