About German Beer

Just wondering, is it any good? A bunch of us finnish are coming to Wacken for the first time and looks like we are gonna have to be without our beloved Karhu for a whole week. I think I heard someone say German beer wasn't all that good. Yet it's gotta be better than English beer, right?

Hm, if you don´t like german beer, you don´t like beer at all. Some of the 6000 beers brewed in Gemany should even fit for your taste.

German beer rules... just don't think the beer you get at the festival area in Wacken is typical German beer... NO IT IS NOT!!!!! that shit sucks!!! so bring your own beer... or stick to the Met they sell in Wacken!

Probably cheaper too to bring your own. Great to hear there will be good beer. What does a 0,5l can cost in a basic supermarket btw?

I heard some people saying "German beer rulz"!! And man they are soooo damn right! I would try Diebels, Tannenzäpfle, Becks and even the cheap beers are drinkable! My favourite beer is Tannenzäpfle it rox! But alot of people love Wheat Beer worth a try too!

I must Accept Karhu is a very good Beer but even so I like German beer more!!!

But for you it wold be better to ask the People from your country who like same Beer as you and made their expirience with german beer. This would give you an relieable answer!
And not our mutterings about regional sorts!
