Nothing's wrong with it, it just looks silly, plus (nearly) any phone designed for durability isn't going to be nearly as powerful and fast as something like the S4. They're probably decent, just not high-end.

That's why "regular" smartphones pretty much need a case. No matter how careful you are, everyone makes mistakes, and dropping a smartphone is a pretty expensive mistake.

Sounds like either he's paying more than he thinks he is, or the insurance company isn't making much money, because insurance here just isn't cheap at all. It's about $10 a month, plus a $200 deductible (payment), so really you're better off just putting that money into an emergency fund. Or buying a case.

And dont really know what he paid. he said something like "one time 90€", but he tends to confuse things.

Don't feel bad, I don't either. Honestly I don't have any need for it. I have a BB that work gives me for work things and my little regular dumb phone for texting.

I use the mobile phone only in extreme situations! basically to call my mom to tell her that I'm alive, my boyfriend when one of us is away and things like that! or to find people at festivals, but maybe this year I'll take a walkie talkie!

We put it on for my friend's 3yo as we celebrated her birthday today (I believe she received it as a gift). All us grown-ups were bored consciousless and even she herself stopped the DVD before it ended and asked to watch Dr Who instead.

It's so satisfying when jerks get proven wrong.

A group came in trying to sign up for a prepaid phone service and use their phone number from their old service. That requires their account number. They insisted it was just the phone number and when I told them it wasn't, they got all upset at me. They did end up calling the company to get it, in the meantime making mean comments about me not knowing what I was doing, asking for a different coworker (she wasn't here luckily), and so on. Well they did end up getting the account number, and it definitely wasn't the phone number. Insert satisfaction.
