So as I may or may not have mentioned, when I walked into work yesterday, I said to my supervisor that I'd call out boss and tell her I'm not coping with the workload. She said she'd contact our boss since it would "sound better coming from me", so I let her do that and continued working like a dog and running around like a headless chook.

So by this morning, there was no reply, so my supervisor called our boss. The boss told some porky pies then said there was no-one to cover even though she promised (verbally) to offer a bit if I was struggling. My supervisor went red with fury.

My boss soon after sent me an email asking to contact her by phone in private when I had a "spare" moment, so I decided to call at the last minute partly to demonstrate that right now there's no such thing, and partly because my supervisor cannot work past 7.6 hour/day (I'll explain later if you want) so I had some time to talk. She even bloody checked to make sure I was on my own when I spoke to her :o So I did my best to make it clear that I was struggling to simply make legal deadlines (without even worrying about tasks that are meant to be done but didn't have time for them), typing was minimal this week and still it was crazy stressful, and that it'd taken all week to get around to doing the minutes I got last Friday.

Anyways, so she agreed that I shouldn't worry about stuff that isn't legally required and that letting the work pile up was not a reflection on me...and yeah she now says she cannot provide any cover. I can only hope most clinical staff in the community meet their deadlines I guess :uff:

And now for some good news :D Still cutting (didn't lose as much weight overall this week though), although somehow according to the pinch test I gained about 400g in muscle this week (last week's results showed 30g gain) :confused:

400g in muscle is quite a lot. and will help burn more calories.
when you do nothing it'll be about 40calories a day. when you move a lot, it'll be much more EXTRA calories that you burn :)

Something tells me it probably wasn't 400g of muscle...If it shows up lower next week I won't be surprised at all. For all I know it might have been fluid retention or something :o

Cool. :) Like it so far? What did you have before?

I just read that intell is working on that :D

They better. :p

Battery life overall isn't as bad as it used to be, especially when you've got my phone already on the market to hopefully push the other companies to work on it.

Durability I'd say is more difficult. The Gorilla Glass on most screens now are good enough against scratches and such but not so much against drops. The challenge is going to be making them, ideally, as tough as a regular phone now with a tough case, but without looking like this:

Sony's got a good phone out now, so there's definitely hope. :)

Whats wrong about it?:confused::confused:

A friend (the one with the samsung galaxy note 2) just did something to his phone - he was drunk and can not remember WHAT he actually did - to make the glass totally break. Looks like hit some more times...

He doesn't care. He has some kind of insurance on it, and it's actually his second phone... the first one (galaxy s4) survived about 4 months, then he got a new one - now he's going to get the third phone for one purchase (+insurance). And he says the insurance isn't even expensive. So whether the Insurance agency (? is this right?) is going to go bankrupt or he is simply to stupid to see how much it really costs...

Nothing's wrong with it, it just looks silly, plus (nearly) any phone designed for durability isn't going to be nearly as powerful and fast as something like the S4. They're probably decent, just not high-end.

That's why "regular" smartphones pretty much need a case. No matter how careful you are, everyone makes mistakes, and dropping a smartphone is a pretty expensive mistake. :p

Sounds like either he's paying more than he thinks he is, or the insurance company isn't making much money, because insurance here just isn't cheap at all. It's about $10 a month, plus a $200 deductible (payment), so really you're better off just putting that money into an emergency fund. Or buying a case. :D
