I guess most dads hope that. But hey, normal is boring. :D

It is. :o

And if I do say so myself, I'm probably better off than my sister is. She's 16 and the typical bratty the-world-revolves-around-her teenager who gets just about everything she wants. Doesn't help either that's she's fairly pretty and popular too. So unlike me. :o

ON THE EDGE OF INSANITY
Poor him. :D

Suddenly I'm reminded of this family I saw at Bloodstock last year. A dad [dunno if there was a mom there] and two young kids, probably aged 7 and 4-5 or something like that. Both with band shirts and denim jackets with patches. So cute. :D

we had a guy in our group in Wacken who came with his 2 kids .. the girl 16 & the boy 14 .. he was a cool metal dad :D

Everybody is different and that's a good thing. We shouldn't compare ourselves to others, but we all do. She may be who she is, but that does not mean she will be happier or more successful than you. the most important thing is to be OK with who you are and to be yourself. That I know you try to do.

I think she's actually probably worse off... she's going to get a reality check when she steps into the real world. She's the kind that goes to the bathroom with a group, I'm the kind that did group projects alone when I could because I didn't want other people to screw up my grade. :o Just more independant in general, thus why I don't mind going to Europe partially alone.
