for sure. though i would not consider Hendrix Metal, well at least, not most of his songs, his playing style and mastery of distortion influenced the metal guitar players who followed.

yeah all the ppl coming after like Steve Vai, joe satriani, jeff loomis, Greg Howe .. and many other .. they all state Hendrix as their biggest influance

I must say Laila, you have excellent taste in music, a very good range of styles.

its cause i grow up in a house with ppl listening to different styles of music .. my older brother influenced me alot .. he was so into the old rock and early metal
