Most shows are unreachable for me, or I'm being dependant on other people. (and I don't want that)
The train is not a good solution here. (leaving at 9hr from Antwerp e.g.)

So.... no.

Once in a while I can go. But that's rare.

Not to mention the 2hrs I have to do per trip to get to work.

That's one of the reasons I'm going to Eindhoven this weekend. Just for the Dynamo festival. (and I stay there, in Best)
Otherwise it's is not doable for me (anymore).

yea I know what you mean.
for me it sucks just that I have to drive to school every day, would be so much more convenient if I could live there... then I could stay in my room in between classes and not waste gas on running the car's air conditioner because it's unbearably hot otherwise

but of course work usually involves actually working most of the time at least, in school you sit there and if you zone out/fall asleep all class, it's not as big of a deal

My coursework consisted of taking notes, and then going off and doing all the work as homework.

fortunately the only homework they're going to give us, they don't actually grade... at least in math and science. sooo don't have to stress about that if I can't handle it

I'd put education before your travels, you might lose motivation as time progresses to travel that long. At least I did when I originally started when I had to travel 45 minutes to get to Fall River.

I might lose motivation, but I know what I have to do... not going to skip school because I don't feel like driving, I'm not quite that lazy [though sometimes I wish I could]

Here it's even worse for motivation. Try driving 45 minutes in a snowstorm when they didn't cancel school knowing there's a possibility you can't get home that night and will have to sleep in the library.

It was my father's car and he'd be sleeping at his girlfriend's house...
