So overall definitely a good show. Nothing particularly good as far as the music though I liked the opener. Pretty good black metal there. Otherwise I met some random people, including some people who are planning to go to Wacken [they noticed my shirt], and two guys from Witchaven. Nice guys, got a pic with them.

Didn't get a whole lot of pics but the ones I did get will be up at some point.

Funny part was watching the crowd though. They were kicking/throwing around empty beer bottles and other beer related trash. As well as a trash can itself. Was pretty hilarious when someone kicked the trash can straight at someone in the pit, which knocked him over. :D That trash can was a recurring theme. There was also a traffic cone that showed up somewhere at the end.

So you did not care for Witchaven all that much?

Oh what a difficult task, don't strain yourself

I'll try. :D

They were worth seeing I'd say... definitely good thrash metal. Just takes a lot to impress me with thrash it seems.

That and they weren't particularly active on stage, that sorta sucked. Then again the stage was pretty small so maybe they couldn't. :p

Do you mean Fueled By Fire?

Probably. :D

Oh and I also learned a valuable tip.

When lost on the way to a metal show and you know you're somewhere close and you come across a beer/liquor store, park there. Within seconds you will see people with black clothes and band shirts and can ask them for directions. And potentially make new friends walking to the venue with them.

Not that I did that, of course... :D
