I just registered here on my way to Wacken, so no, I wasn't in the meeting, but I saw hundreds of nerdy metalheads. And I know many enough to say, that the surface is just for special events like gigs

nerdy metalheads is something not hard to find in these days but i prefer that to some metalheads i actually know... they always get into troubles for their "true thing". i just enjoy at my own way... and i'm cool with that
