When i went to the US i was about 5 and it was the first time i even saw a buffet before never mind a breakfast buffet! I got told i was so excited about seeing blue jelly and didnt know i could use more than one plate i ended up with a bowl of blue jelly, eggs, cereal, and toast.... not sure if i ate it

I caught a glimpse of the weather on the news - our overnight temperatures look like they're going to be kind of high for this time of year (16C if I saw correctly)...no wonder I opened the window and turned on the fan again 
The insulation in this house is pretty fantastic, otherwise I'd probably grab all of the blankets/quilts ever.
And it's relatively cheap!
And it's also a bit like "wat de boer niet kent, dat vret-ie niet"(what the farmer does not know, he won't eat) mentality. At least you know what you'll get, as it's the same all over the world.
Or is this typically Dutch? (and one of the reasons they always stack up their mobile homes, once they're going to France?)

But, as far as I know, most Germans don't leave their country, so they don't have to stack their mobile homes with food. The country is big enough. Whereas the Dutch, they are out of the country in a sec! And oh! The food in France is so weird!
Or am I wrong?

BBQ time is here! Its not 30 degrees but its still pretty warm for us, considering the weird weather lately.

Weird ?? No! The food is excellent but I pay for it. Usually, you have a good dinner for 30euro. Ok.. I have to add the wine (another 30) but I don't mind. It's not like i'm doing this everyday.
I was merely saying the GENERAL Dutch opinion. Not mine!
I went to the Vaucluse, years ago, and we had a great meal. The same for the Alsace region! (or was it Lorraine?)
And at the birthday of my wife's grandfather, we went somehwere in Nord-Pas de Calais, where we had a great meal! The waiter just looked weird at me, 'cause I did NOT want a wine, but a beer with it.
