I'll admit the iPhone is good, but it's not the only one. There are loads of smartphones with touchscreens and cool apps, and I'd get any of them over the iPhone.

Like the new Google phone or the Droid. My dad has a Droid, it's pretty cool, I'd want it if only it were a world phone. Still has the stupid data plan thing though.

My next new phone probably will be one with a data plan most likely. In a couple years.

I had an iPod once, several years ago. It stopped working within weeks of having it. And after that, I've just been annoyed at the fact they're so popular, like they're the only kind of MP3 player or anything. So I've boycotted it.

Pretty much. Though I have to get it unlocked once I get it, which is easy as all I have to do is call Verizon's [my provider] global services and they'll give me a code right there, no charge.

Not with Verizon, the Droid can't be unlocked... maybe if it was released with AT&T or T-Mobile it's GSM, but the one for Verizon is CDMA like most of the phones they have.

They are not. And yea I know mine was just a dud, any electronic devices have that possibility. But any Apple products, though good, are expensive and definitely not the best.

I also had to use a Mac once when my grandparents decided the solution to a slow internet connection was to not only get a new computer, but to switch brands and operating systems. The internet worked but otherwise I hated that thing.

That's why I dual boot Windows XP and Linux Mint. Best of both worlds. Linux is even better than Mac OS with viruses since it's used even less among other reasons. Still has the problem of programs not being compatible, but that's when I just restart my comp and boot Windows instead.
