Yes that is what is the most important by far, and for that I am very grateful. However, on Thursday I learned that the company I work for is being sold, and the new owner is known for running his companies with a very small staff. I may be unemployed in as soon as 6-8 weeks.

Yea, I was watching it on the news... it was somewhat disappointing honestly, coming from me the disaster movie fan But I'm glad you're all safe.

Well we live VERY close to the water so had it hit with some decent size, we would have been screwed.

Yes the main impact would have been on the south/east coast, we live on the east coast. We are about a 3-4 minute walk to the shore.
