hey kris, all is safe and quiet now, though it was kinda scary and tense for a while. I've had less than three hours of sleep. it's been a crazy week.

yep, went to sleep around 2:30 woke up to a phone call at 5:30, then began evacuation preparations. left the house at 9:00 am headed for high ground and waited there until 1:40pm. But the main thing is the tsunami lost most of it's strength by the time it hit and no damage occurred. So for that we are all grateful

Yes that is what is the most important by far, and for that I am very grateful. However, on Thursday I learned that the company I work for is being sold, and the new owner is known for running his companies with a very small staff. I may be unemployed in as soon as 6-8 weeks.

Yea, I was watching it on the news... it was somewhat disappointing honestly, coming from me the disaster movie fan But I'm glad you're all safe.
