we really encourage my daughter to do well so she can get a scholarship later. She usually gets VERY good grades.

well straight As all year is asking a lot. But I can see why they tried that. My daughter has tested in the top 95% of students in the nation, so she has the potential. She just gets easily distracted.

"verstehen" is actually one of my vocab words for sociology... I'm surprised they didn't include the German definition, because it has quite a lot to do with what the term means
ah well, at least it's an easy way for me to remember that one... go German

Well I guess I am kinda biased since Kill EM All is one of my top 10 albums of all time and Master of Puppets really is a masterpiece. But I do agree, there was a lot of other good Metal around that time as well. Like I mentioned, Maiden and Mercyful Fate was great back then.

Oops I did not even realize where we were post wise. Stuff like Immortal, Turisas, Heidevolk etc. would never have happened back then. metal evolves and it took years to create what we enjoy now. Though I still love much of the classic stuff.
