The most important relations the US have is with the EC/Europe.
They were/are their allies in (almost) everything, though Europe has its own opinion in many cases.
And it broathens their horizon. Knowledge is power!

somewhat off topic, but I was actually kind of annoyed at the prayer and constant mention of God at Obama's inauguration...
I mean, you know me... I'm religious and all, maybe even more so than Obama, but I'm not going around talking about it all the time to you guys, much less in such a public situation

yea I know... Japan and Germany are our biggest trading partners, and that's not even a big part of why Europe's important
never said we shouldn't learn about you guys, you do mean a lot to our business and economy and etc... I was talking more about literally small countries that just haven't played too big of a part in history
