Heimfahren nach Konzerten empfinde ich manchmal als extrem stressig, wie haltet ihr das so?

Unter der Woche fahre ich durchaus 1,5 Stunden, selten mehr da ich morgens meistens früh raus muß und 4 (besser 5) Stunden Schlaf als Minimum haben will um den Arbeitstag zu überstehen. Für ein Konzert frei nehmen will ich vermeiden, den Urlaub brauche ich anders. Freitag oder Samstag darf es auch eine längere Strecke sein, oder halt Hotel.

Secrets of the Moon haben auf Facebook ein Statement veröffentlicht, in dem sie auf die Problematik der Absagen aufgrund von schlechten Vorverkäufen hinweisen und die Fans bitten, Tickets zu kaufen, "damit es nicht soweit kommt". Die Konzerte stehen anscheinend auch auf der Kippe.

2 Stunden Fahrt sind bei mir gerade so die Grenze. Darüber würde ich mir auf jeden Fall eine Unterkunft suchen.

1 Stunde fahren lohnt sich die Heimfahrt. Aber länger bedeutet übernachten, weil kein Zug mehr fährt.

Edit Piaf zegt: gilt von Tür zu Tür! Wenn ich 'ne halbe Stunde Tram fahren muss, schaffe ich den Zug nicht mehr.

Bei mir sind auch 2 Stunden die Grenze. Fahre aus Flensburg regelmäßig nach Hamburg. Manchmal fahr ich noch zurück, manchmal penn ich bei meinem Bruder oder Kumpel in Hamburg. Einmal nach Hannover von Itzehoe aus und dann zurück nach Guns n Roses war schon sehr doll, das wird nur in den allergrößten Ausnahmen gemacht.

In einem Kommentar darunter heißt es von der Band "those four final shows are likely to happen".
Geht's da mehr um die allgemeine Aussage, dass man im VVK Tickets kaufen möge, als dass die eigenen Shows in Gefahr wären?

Bei mir sind die meisten Konzertlocations, die ich oft besuche, mit einer Entfernung von 10-30km mit dem Auto relativ schnell zu erreichen. Da stellt die Heimfahrt auch unter der Woche kein Problem dar. Weiter entfernte Konzerte nach Frankfurt oder Wiesbaden (jeweils 100km) oder Stuttgart (120km) stehen nicht so oft an oder fallen eher selten auf Werktage. Weiter fahre ich i.d.R. nur für Festivals.
Aber auch wenn es unter der Woche mal später wird, nehme ich eher selten für Konzerte Urlaub. Ich arbeite aber auch im öffentlichen Dienst... da muss man nicht zwingend ausgeschlafen erscheinen.

Die Tour von Atheist und Suicidal Angels wurde ebenfalls wegen "unforeseen circumstances " abgesagt bzw. auf unbedtimmte Zeit verschoben.
Vor zwei Tagen Tickets gekauft. Ist ja kein Wunder, dass niemand mehr im VVK Tickets kauft.

Das Statement von Suicidal Angels, die Jungs scheinen (zu Recht) ziemlich angepisst zu sein:

"Unfortunately, for reasons beyond our control and due to lack of lots of certain details which actually create the conditions of a normal tour, we are forced to CANCEL and not postpone our upcoming tour. Either promoters or fans, in case you have any questions, feel free and ask @flamingartsagency. We were just simply informed from a friend and not even from an official source, that Atheist are not willing to get on the plane 2 days before the kick off of the tour. We don’t want to say anything else, we just want to end this story here! Our deepest apologies to all our friends who were anxiously waiting to meet again. Stay tuned, we will return!"

Mit Igorrr kann ich leider gar nichts anfangen. So wenig, dass ich nicht mal auf dem Summerbreeze noch ein paar Minuten geblieben bin, um wenigstens mal live reinzuhören. Und auf Konzert gehen, um vor dem Headliner einen Abflug zu machen, finde ich auch doof.

Witherfall has absolutely nothing to do with this tour cancellation. We found out during rehearsals that the tour had been pulled, one week before the band were set to fly out to pick up our Bus. Witherfall had every last production detail on our end completely solidified. Airline tickets, Bus, Trailer, Driver, Tour manager , Shipping of Tour merchandise (which has dates printed on them that no longer exist!!!) Rehearsals, Witherfall Beer at venues and countless other expenses that will not be reimbursed. Needless to say, we are devastated by this news. Each one of the aforementioned pieces took months of planning and every detail was carefully managed making this endeavor very time consuming and VERY expensive.



The reality of the math is Witherfall will need to eat the upfront costs of over $12K not including what our crew, and band members will lose because they turned down other work. None of these expenses will be recouped. We apologize to our fans that has had plans that were affected. We had every intention of bearing the cost to put the band out on the road. Again, we had everything planned and were ready and excited to get to play and meet the fans coming out.

We are extremely upset by this last minute rug pull.
