You would think that the descendants of the Bounty's crew living there would be up front and center for Running Wild. :D

@Brat: tiny island in the South Pacific, British colony, ENE of New Zealand, I think...

Excellent! See you there Adam!

And be sure to bring a little sunshine with you so we don't have a repeat of last year!

Uh, someone knows his history there...:D

And his geography, my my, now this is the first encounter with a warthog so clever I've had in a long time...

Actually, after taking a look at a map, I really hope that someone from Chatham Island is coming to Wacken, I guess that would be pretty unbeatable. :D

Welcome Metal 808! I hope to party with you there! This i s my first Wacken too but I'm putting together group tours thru my travel company starting next year to make it easier (and hopefully cheaper) for us metalfiend North Americans to go from now on.
]If your not into camping I think your best bet is to try the Itzhoe Hostel. I don't think they are taking reservations so showing up early could score you a cheap bed if your lucky.
Aloha!

I was a finalist in the 1993 Washington DC Middle School Geography Bee! DONT FUCK WITH ME! :D:D:D

I don't know...i think it's more likely that there might be some metalheads stationed at the outposts on Anarctica?

Oh COOL! We've got to talk! :D

I've been working on a website at www.wacken.us for Americans going to Wacken. It's nowhere near complete... but I was hoping to flesh it out after this year's trip, with some pictures, more info, and what not.

Are you going it alone, or bringing people with you this year? I'm going with a friend of mine this year, and LooseCannon (you've probably seen him here) is from Baltimore.

Rock on!
