In which campground were you ? And was it a good spot walking distance wise from the in field ?

The GPS thingy is kinda cool

I was at F. it was a nice spot. nice and quite at night, but close enough to everything.

One month to go and the other folks I'm going with are still procrastinating about how
they're gonna get there. Part of the experience is the trip getting to Wacken. After
the fest, I head up to Sweden to visit a friend who moved from the East Bay Area to
Gothenburg a couple years back. I hear they've got a huge network of bike trails up
there that are considered parallel to Marin County and the Lake Tahoe area over
here.

Only thing left that I still haven't decided on in the "getting there" part is whether to
take a train from Amsterdam into Hamburg(6 hours) or just say "fuck it" and fly
instead(1 hour)?

Once in Hamburg, snag a couple pints before we catch a train up to Itzehoe, and
finally the shuttle into WACKEN!! (there will be much rejoicing)
